Consciousness witnesses the consciousness everywhere. In every form of life. The guru disciple relationship is about the soul and consciousness relationship. Through the soul only, consciousness gets to realize that who it is? Once the self realization is attained then only one gets to know that what is above it? The soul is on completely that side of our being. Consciousness is in the middle. On one side it remains in contact with the mind and on another side soul resides. Every consciousness has to perform the dharma which is provided by the mother nature in the presence of Guru. Dharma means performing the natural task and yajna means performing the natural duties. The first one is associated with the consciousness and the second one is associated with the nature. Under the witnessing eyes of the Guru, consciousness performs both of these tasks. The awareness towards the silence and the stillness comes from the guru, which gets imbibed by the consciousness. Upon finding the moment of silence and the solitude, the consciousness highly rejoices it. If it gets coupled with the presence of nature then it becomes the icing on the cake. Because in this condition both the Guru and the mother are present simultaneously. It means the love and the destination both are there. The intensity of the meditation and depth of the Samadhi are related with both of these factors. Samadhi works upon the consciousness and meditation makes the mind calmer. For the uninterrupted internal development these factors are like a blessing. A calm mind keeps the internal joy undisturbed. Consciousness wants to keep the level of internal power high by staying away from the sensual activities so that it can perform according to itself and gets to savour the benefits of this state. This is how you live in the state of adequate power & clarity.
